This week started off with a huge win…

After quite a lot of studying, I was finally able to take the NREMT test which would certify me as an EMT.

When I was in EMT school in Boise, we were all told by the paramedics that the NREMT exam was difficult (as it should be). They told us that by the time we finished the test we should feel like we failed. In fact, if we didn’t feel like we failed at the end of the test, then we definitely failed.

Well, by the time I finished my test on Monday I was mentally preparing myself to have to retake the test.

What’s worse is that they don’t tell you the test score right away, typically you have to wait a few days to find out.
